The ALTA residence is an exceptional property located in the heart of Domaine Charlevoix, along a rocky hillside rising more than 400 meters (1,300 feet) above the river.

The property soaks in natural light thanks to its strategic location and large windows. Its spacious terrace offers breathtaking views overlooking the magnificent St. Lawrence River and Isle-aux-Coudres.

The residence can accommodate up to 14 people and offers a giant kitchen, a huge dining table, a large sectional facing a gas fireplace, four bedrooms, two large bathrooms, and a powder room. Its extensive living areas provide a 180-degree view of the picturesque bay and the nature surrounding it.

Signed by the architects and designers of the SGDA firm, every detail of the ALTA Residence has been designed to maximize the breathtaking view of the panorama. Granite, wood, concrete, slate, glass, terrazzo, and natural materials will make you feel in tune with nature.

As soon as you enter the ALTA residence, you are surrounded by its unique design and cozy atmosphere. From the built-in furniture crafted in natural birch and custom-made by a carpenter to the wall partition and its spectacular glass pivot door, which will offer you comfort and functionality.

Each bedroom on the garden level has French windows giving direct access to the outdoors.

The very comfortable family room includes a modern pool table, stools, an super comfortable sectional, a large television, and a sound system that allows you to plug in your smart device to play music.

An open-concept office area allows two people to work or play video games. Board games and a few children's toys and books are also available.

A large patio door gives you access to the outdoor hot tub and fire pit.

First floor

As soon as you reach the last step of the architectural staircase, you will be overwhelmed by the inspiring spaces of the ALTA Residence. Architectural ceilings with singular angles designed in natural birch wood give a unique character to this exceptional property.

Dining room
You will first be greeted by a majestic dining room with a panoramic view of the surroundings. featuring a huge communal birch wood table that can accommodate up to 14 guests.

Kitchen

A top-of-the-line kitchen with a 14-foot-long natural stone centre island will allow you to share laughs with friends or prepare delicious family meals. Equipped with high-end appliances, this space is a clever fusion of functionality and design.

Living area
Just a few steps away, you'll find a living room filled with natural light. A wood gas fireplace will brighten your winter evenings. A huge sectional sofa that can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests will allow you to enjoy some quiet time. In the library, you will find design and travel magazines, as well as beautiful reference books on the region.

Office
Remote working is now part of our lives, and we need more flexibility than ever. The ALTA Residence offers a nice double desk office with an exceptional view of the river and Ile aux Coudres. The high-speed fiber optic internet connection will allow you to attend your virtual meetings and complete your professional obligations in an inspiring setting.

Powder room

A powder room with a unique personality awaits you: terrazzo enhances this space making it as designed as it is dramatic.

Master suite

A heavenly space, the master suite promises moments of serenity. A king-size bed with sleek lines and comfortable high-density memory foam and an aerated (non-allergenic) latex mattress await you. Enjoy sweet moments of peace while sipping a latte, reading an exciting novel, or taking a short nap, or sinking into a meditative state while admiring an exhilarating landscape.

The bathroom will take your breath away. A large 67" bathtub sits in front of a large bay window offering a breathtaking view of nature. The double sink vanity and large glass-enclosed shower create a harmonious space for deep relaxation. For added privacy, the toilet is located in an enclosed area. The finishing touch? You will find a walk-in closet for added functionality.

Fully equipped kitchen: 36-inch induction oven and integrated Fisher & Paykel fridge, Bosch dishwasher, wine cellar, microwave, blender, toaster, two electric fondue sets, raclette set, etc.
Coffee and tea lovers will be pleased with the Nespresso machine and filtered coffee machine, as well as a kettle and teapot.
There are also plenty of plates and bowls, cutlery, water/wine/beer/champagne glasses and plastic cutlery for young children.

A large half-covered terrace allows you to enjoy the panorama in any season. A Weber propane barbecue and modern, comfortable garden furniture encourages total comfort. There is also a large table ready to welcome you and your family and friends for outdoor meals.

Summer and winter alike, you can enjoy sweet moments of relaxation in a premium Jacuzzi spa that can accommodate up to seven people.

Outdoor heated pool
In the summer, you can also enjoy a beautiful heated in-ground pool with a magnificent view of the forest and the clear waters of the St. Lawrence River.

Campfire area

End your days admiring the starry sky around a bonfire (wood provided), while toasting delicious marshmallows.

Trails and parks
Located between the two sections of Domaine de Charlevoix, Laure-Conan Park is entirely private and accessible to Domaine de Charlevoix residents and their tenants only. Giving access to more than 10 km of hiking trails, this park includes an artificial lake (unswimmable) in the centre with a small beach for a relaxing break. Winter and summer alike, this park is accessible for walking, cycling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
